Some of the greatest things about co-habitation (Yes, I gave Jordan a key) happen between midnight and 8 AM. No, I'm not talking about "that" — I'm talking about sleep talk. There are few things better than middle of the night ramblings that you remember with a heavy head the morning after.

The other night, I was rambling about the Democratic National Convention, though not very articulately. Or better yet, Jordan is usually full of wonderful half sentences and strange questions when I'm getting ready for work at 7 AM.

Jordan: Jessy. Are you wearing pants?
Jessica: Yes.
Jordan: Good. (Starts snoring).

I really have been more than happy with this apartment (and with sharing it) over the past few months. Over all, a close-to-perfect summer, though I'm refusing to believe it's over.

As per usual, I've been a bad blogger lately, due to a zillion things on my "to do" list, plus a pretty bad case of election fever. Strangely enough it's American election fever that's hit me, and not the looming Canadian one. I'm reading Obama's book right now, though I'm only just past the introduction, so it's hardly time for a review.

Jordan and I are in the middle of planning a trip out East. We even have a flight booked! A few days on the ocean are well-deserved for both of us and I think we're both getting excited of the idea of a change of scenery for a few days.

I'm off to finish watching the documentary Helvetica. I know, a whole two-hour documentary about one typeface might sound boring, but so far it's very entertaining.

I just had the idea it would be fitting to change my font to Helvetica for this post, but it seems that it's not an option on blogger!
