H Mag

The latest issue of H Magazine is out around the city. I'm not above shameless self-promotion, so check out my article on urban agriculture.

I'm still apartment hunting, but it's becoming increasingly important that I at least have a balcony, because I'm obsessed with the idea of urban agriculture these days. I just finished You Grow Girl by Gayla Trail, which was wonderful, but I'm equally as fascinated by her blog.

I've decided that gardening has to be "my thing" — meaning my contribution to my relationship. Jordan is a professional and talented cook, so being the excellent cook is never going to be my way of contributing. So for about two days I decided it would be baking. But I don't have much of a sweet tooth, and Jordan usually makes such fabulous dinners that we never have room for dessert. So it's got to be gardening. It will be gardening. The perfect passtime for an almost-vegetarian who wants to go beyond just eating local! I still have to tackle knitting though. I can't tackle gardening until I tackle knitting!
