I’ve been finally getting to some podcasts that I’ve archived, because proofreading with my headphones on has proved too troublesome as of late. But I’ve finally had the chance to listen to Stuart McLean’s Best of the Vinyl Café, which the Ceeb posted on January 5th. I’m actually finding myself hitting the pause button on my keyboard because it’s making me teary-eyed. I can’t find an exact link to the show, but it should be in the Ceeb’s podcast archives. Listen! Listen! Listen! CBC Radio 2 Blog - Best Of The Vinyl Cafe!: "The Vinyl Café goes far deeper into the vaults though, by presenting the most-requested moments from the past fifteen – yes fifteen – years this morning. Highlights include the story of Roger Woodward, who, as a young boy, went over Niagara Falls protected by nothing but a life-jacket. Stuart McLean tells this incredible – but true – story."
