And So It Is...

Jes-a-brit's little shin-dig turned out to be quite the memorable night. Good friends and good times.

Who would have thought when we all moved into 8th Glen four years ago that we all would have stayed such good friends. Since then I can't even count the number of concerts that we have all gone to, or the nights at Highlander or Zaphods, among many others. But I must admit that Friday was one of the best.

It makes me at least a little bit happier to know that I have good friends waiting for me as soon as I make the big move to the G.T.A soon. So goodbye to the trips to Montreal to see Wilco and Broken Social Scene. So long to drinking caesar after caesar with this guys at the Highlander. So long to quarts of 50 while dancing the night away at Zaphod's. But now I can look forward to new hang-outs in Toronto. New concert venues to explore. Maybe now instead of trips to Montreal it will be trips to New York. Who knows.

We're all leaving Ottawa and going our separate ways, but it doesn't have to only be sad.

Thanks again to everyone who came to our party, and headed out to Zaphod's with us. It was a great night.

And congrats to Erin and Kyle on their big news! I always knew it would happen.
