Splendid Snapshots (aka I overuse alliteration)

My new (to me) Underwood No. 5 typewriter, which I found at the Christie Conservation Area Antique Show ($35.00)

My bookshelf! The two life magazines (Jimmy Stewart and Katharine Hepburn) which are lying on the second shelf from the bottom will eventually be framed with the African Queen poster.

The Leonard Cohen show was incredible. Sitting in the audience, hearing him recite A Thousand Kisses Deep and sing Bird on a Wire, Hallelujah, Suzanne and all the other songs I grew up on was just one of those incredible moments — like seeing Dylan sing Girl from the North Country. Cohen is still elegant and hardly a shell of his former self. The guys still has it! We were lucky enough to be in the orchestra (Twelfth-row centre).

Hallelujah, Leonard Finds His Muse

Before taking me for a ride, Evan needed to make sure his teeth were clean.

A day at the park!
