Here are some remarkably vague first photos of my new apartment. Since I've yet to put anything on the walls, I figured I might as well wait until I post too many photos. So far I'm loving it. Last night was my first night
sans Jordan, so I basically curled up on the couch for a
Grey's Anatomy marathon, then unpacked some boxes and made a fruit salad. Ahh the joys of being a grown up.
The phone book is open to "B" for beer store. I don't waste time when I move to a new city!
These were my first overnight visitors. Oddly enough, there is an Honest Lawyer about a ten-minute walk from my place. So that made my guests feel right at home. Nothing says “Welcome to Hamilton,” like a Beerzooka and a yard of beer. Note how enthralled they are by my 1930s-style intercom system. Sadly, it does not work — though it doesn’t mean we can’t pretend it does!
