So long sweet summer

Well, it's come to an end.

My summer prematurely started on a patio in Ottawa, in April, which was unusually warm, and fittingly enough it ended in Ottawa as well, last weekend. And though I absolutely feared being away from Ottawa for the summer, I must admit that in the end I had an amazing summer. But it's past my bedtime, so instead of writing a long entry about how wonderful, yet complicated, my summer was, I'll just post some pictures (since my camera is usually glued to my hip) of the highlights instead (in no particular order!):

Canada Day in Ottawa, with one of my favourite people.

April in Ottawa, with three of my favourite people.

Evan's 5th birthday party (and playing with his toys while he napped)

One of my favourite places in the world is the Greyhound Bus. I'm sure many people would say the opposite, but I've always loved it.

I am so happy that some of my Ottawa friends also moved to the GTA.

Patio beers in April.

The Byward Market, how I miss you so!

The incredible Mr. Bob Dylan at Bluesfest in July.

Canada Day on Parliament Hill.

Rufus Wainwright at the Danforth Music Hall.

An absolutely flawless day in Stratford, to see To Kill A Mockingbird.

Cheesy pasta, the way to my heart!
