My hair is acne free!

I just washed my hair with face wash, which I don't think is a good sign that I'm staying sane this holiday season. Luckily enough, I wasn't too distracted that I actually noticed that my "shampoo" wasn't lathering as it usually does and I was able to remedy the problem quickly, though I'm kind of curious what the end result would have been.

I just got home from shopping with my Mom and sister, which was moderately successful. I was able to round up a few stocking stuffers for my Dad, as well as some kick ass stocking hooks for my mantle. My mantle/faux fireplace in my apartment is a definite plus, especially at Christmas.

Life has been busy ... work is picking up again, Jordan is playing a lot of shows, there is puppy preparation at my parent's place, I've put up my tree, and I'm working on a "best of" holiday shopping for "locavores" in Hamilton for H Mag, which is due tomorrow.

Oh, and did I mention we're getting a puppy? Right in time for Christmas? I have a feeling I'll be taking even more pictures than I usually do Christmas morning. Which brings up another thing. I've made the decision to sleep over at my parent's place on Christmas Eve, partly because it's my Dad's birthday and partly because I can't help but feel I'll miss being there Christmas morning. Plus, the greedy part of me knows that means I'll have two Christmas mornings, when Jordan and I have ours either a few days before or a few days after Christmas.

Jordan brought home baked brie and garlic buds from the restaurant last night, and we sat in our decorated living room and indulged, while I drank a caesar and he drank a beer. It's pretty swanky living.

Alright, I'm going to bed before I end up drinking nail polish remover or falling asleep in the bathtub, or any other mixed up combination that I'm apparently prone to tonight.

Oh wait, one more thing ... Coalition? Craziness in Canadian politics and I'm intrigued!

Zzzz.

A puppy!!!! OMG!!!!

And wow, washing your hair with face wash... At least I'm not the only one whose mind is slipping these days. You and I could form a club and try to keep each other out of trouble. :)

I'm definitely going puppy crazy! It's actually my family that is getting him, which means I can go visit him every day, but don't have to deal with the middle of the night poop and scoop ... Plus I get to spoil him. It will be like being a grandparent!

If only I lived closer to you and Morty. They could be playmates!
