In a move to "attract a younger audience," CBC Radio 2 has cancelled Brave New Waves, the overnight program that expanded the musical tastes of thousands of Canadians.
I'll be the first to go on a rant about the relevance of the CBC, but I must admit how disappointed I am by this move. If Radio 3 isn't doing enough to attract a younger audience, I'm not sure that there is anything else that can be done. Cancelling one of Radio 2's best shows is hardly going to do that!
At least I still have DNTO!
